About Stormy

Sadly disappointed. We went through 5 paid interviews, each $20/hr to get to Stormy. She interviewed in our home & met our daughter. No issues. No red flags. She interviewed great! Great communication. We thought she would be an excellent choice for our daughter’s care. We told her we needed someone to watch our daughter every Friday. We offered her the position, barring a 1/2 day trial run to make sure she was a good fit. She happily accepted! Just prior to her first shift (a half-day trial run of 6hrs), she texted at 5:22am. 38min from when she was supposed to arrive to let us know she was not feeling well/cough/scratchy throat. She was concerned about getting our daughter sick. I appreciated her concern, but we also had no time to get some one in 30min. We asked if she could come in until we could find relief. She replied “Yes, of course!!” and told us she would be there soon. The morning seemed to have gone very well. She sent us videos. Communicated well. Everything looked great! I arranged for our Aunt to come over to relieve Stormy at 10am. So 4hrs of work total. We told her to rest up and feel better, then to let us know how she thought the morning went and that we would love to give her our needs schedule. Since then… nothing. Radio silence. Ghosted. We have reached out several times to see if she was okay, and we hope she is! We hope there has been some huge misunderstanding. If there has been, if Stormy contacts us and explains what happened, we will remove this review. But as it stands now, how it “looks”, is that Stormy has the ability to interview well, accept a position, but then change her mind with zero communication or explanation. So sadly, I can not recommend her services, especially as a recurring nanny. We now have to go back to interviewing more nannies to find a responsible person. We wish her all the best, but we can not recommend her services as a professional nanny.
