While volunteering at an Elementary school I taught, assisted, and tutored over 20 students in one-on-one and group sessions. Those students were kindergarten and 1st grade aged students. During my very first babysitting job one of my responsibilities was "homework help" with a child who was a bit older. I also had a nannying job where I did homework help and I was able to raise the child's grades and make the lesson/homework fun for her.
