Hi! I'm Steve. I've cared for my own pets and those of friends, family and neighbors for years. Entrusting your dog or cat to someone is a big decision. I take time to learn each pet's personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care. My love for animals started young - my family had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, chameleons, iguanas and more. As a teen, I worked at a local animal hospital near Albany, NY, assisting vets and caring for boarded and recovering animals. I've since rescued five cats and cared for very young and very old pets, including giving medication - experiences that taught me patience, compassion and respect for animals. I'm also a professional photographer and filmmaker. The reliability, empathy and attention to detail that serve me there carry into pet care too.
