About Stephen

Hi, I'm Stephen! I have over three years of experience as a nanny, taking care of one child from 7 months to 3 years, and another from infancy to 8 months. I have babysat for kids under 1-year-old, and as an uncle of seven, I have lots of informal training in childcare. An emphasis on independent play and exploration is very important to me. One of my favorite parts of nannying is being able to play along in a game that the child created. I also put an emphasis on reading and music. I come from a musical background, and I enjoy reading and then talking about books with kids. Though my personality is gentle and patient, I'm able to be firm when needed. Overall, I'm passionate about helping in the development of children.
