About Stephanie

My name is Stephanie and I was previously a lead teacher in a toddler classroom at a Montessori school. After working at this school for almost 6 years I have decided this year to change career paths towards clinical mental health counseling, and have recently been accepted into a Master's program in that field. I am approaching the field of nannying because I am looking for a flexible work schedule that can accommodate my studies and that my current skillset can support. I have a lot of experience working with young children and I feel that transitioning from teaching to nannying makes sense for my abilities as well as a means to achieve my future goals. I see working with a family one-on-one to be a natural progression of the work I have already been doing in partnering with families to support their children's development that will also give me a more holistic picture of what it means to truly and compassionately collaborate with families in all of their beautiful complexity.
