About Stephanie

I currently work with an agency that provides 24/7 care to adults with varying disabilities. I am responsible for all aspects of their daily care as well as assisting them in ADL's and helping them get out into the community as much as possible . In the past I have worked with children with special needs as well as moderate to severe behavioral disabilities . Their diagnoses ranged from autism, ADHD, Asperger's, to behavioral tendencies including but not limited to; odd, intermittent explosive disorder and SIB. I have 5+ years experience in this field and also have several certifications. I am first aid, CPR, "child and adult" and certified to pass meds in the state of Connecticut . In addition to that I have children of my own . Working with children and adults has always been a passion of mine and an opportunity I could never take for granted. It's a field of work that requires compassion, love, patience , and heart all of which are attributes I carry with pride and determination. I
