About Stephanie

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I have lived in the Des Moines area for about 4 years now. I do work full time as an occupational therapy assistant, but have a very flexible schedule. I am returning to school at DMU in August to get my doctorate of occupational therapy. I am looking for something flexible, most likely evenings/weekends but my availability may change. I love working with children! I have 10+ years of experience working with adults with special needs and the elderly, but have also worked as a respite care nanny for special needs children and have done a lot of babysitting for family/friends as well. With my OT background, I love coming up with fun, creative things to do with kiddos of all ages/abilities including games, crafts, science experiments, imaginary play, etc! I am CPR/first aide certified, have my own reliable car, good driving record. Im comfortable with pets and would be more than willing to help with light housekeeping needs and meal prep tasks as well.
