About Stephanie

I have a corny, but earnest motto when it comes to working with children: clarity, consistency and kindness. My background in childcare is quite extensive. I began babysitting at 11 years old and have consistently worked with children since that day. I've worked in many child-centric arenas: after-school programs (junior high students), camp counseling/life-guarding (junior high & high school), long term nanny (five year with the same family), substitute teacher (pre-k through first grade), assistant teacher in a Montessori toddler classroom, and lead teacher in that same Montessori toddler classroom (for three years), and throughout that time babysitting. I also have experience with infants and multiples. I am confident in my ability to connect with kids. I'm adaptable and work well with many different families. I love people. I love getting to know what makes children curious and how they approach the world.
