About Stephanie
I am studying education and I began tutoring through an assignment that one of my professors gave me. After given specific guidance, I became a volunteer tutor.. I worked at a local school in a Latino community and helped students with homework. Later, I began working for a company where I help build reading fluency skills with preschool students in low socio-economic status areas. While I continue my work with them, I am also currently a volunteer tutor at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I work with students who are admitted to the hospital and need to stay up to date on their school work. Through this program, I work with students of every age on any topic.
