I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs until age 10, and attended private international schools in Beijing and Shanghai for secondary school. I speak native English and basic conversational Mandarin. I hold a University Intern credential as a Secondary Teacher with LAUSD. I teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts. After graduating from USC in 2023, I joined Teach For America to serve low-income students in South Central LA. I'm experienced and proficient in supporting students who are English Learners and/or reading 3+ grade levels below standard. Currently not driving but very familiar with public transit and living in a quiet space with reliable wifi. Happy to answer any other questions you have!
