Stephanie has worked with us for four years, since our youngest daughter was a tiny infant. We were often at home while she took care of our children. She is fantastic and we loved having her as part of our family. She has a fantastic personality, has a great rapport with children, and we (adults) love just hanging out with her, too! She is treasured by all of us. * The children feel extraordinarily loved by her. She showers them with affection. They love her dearly and have learned how to show sincere concern for others. * She is firm. The children know exactly what to expect from her. They obey her respectfully (this works hand in hand with the affection). * She is outstandingly tolerant - she takes the toddler and preschooler outbursts calmly and ensures rules are followed. She never, ever touches the children in a rough, angry manner, nor has she spanked them. Her voice always remains firm and she exudes a presence of control and calmness. * Weather permitting, the children go to playgrounds as often as possible and play outside almost every day. She has an ever-expanding repertoire of indoor activities as well. * Stephanie has an amazing memory and can relay all the information related to diapers/potty training/foods and drinks consumed/behavior at play dates/classes. * Stephanie is definitely the baby whisperer and the best nap enforcer. * She is a fantastic comforter for a baby with severe colic (loud and messy) and children of all ages who are ill. * Stephanie is reliable. When she has appointments or upcoming vacation, she gives plenty of notice. * She is a trustworthy, reliable driver. * She is great with animals.
