About Stacy

Teaching is a passion of mine. Whether I am teaching adults or students in art, math, science, computers or history, I enjoy helping others gain an understanding of the whatever subject they are struggling in. I am a certified teacher who has been teaching for 17 years in a school setting, but trained others in various fields for many years before becoming a teacher. My certifications are: Generalist 4-8, Generalist EC-6, Art EC-12, Composite Science 8-12. I have been teaching online for the last 7 1/2 years after having been in the classroom. I currently teach 5th grade math and science. I am very good at teaching online, so if you feel more comfortable with a tutor who can assist you via computer, I absolutely have the skills to help you. Having a webcam and talking via the phone are the best combinations which I have found to tutor in the online environment. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
