Stacy was employed for 2 years as a companion/caregiver to my 97-year-old father-in-law with advanced dementia. She worked 5 days a week until his passing. I work from home but his disease had progressed to requiring watching at all times. He was wary of persons he didn't know, so the fact he accepted her quickly as a friend was a blessing to us. As his disease progressed, she stepped up to the necessary changes to his needs, and took the initiative to suggest games and activities that would help him. Dad's downhill in 2022 ended with in-home hospice and through it all, Stacy was there for us and we considered her part of the family. She was with us when he passed and stayed and helped through his funeral and all the things necessary afterward. If you choose to hire her, you will not get a more dedicated and caring individual. At the end, I trusted her with him more than anyone else (including family members) as she helped me navigate two of the hardest years of my life.
