Stacy contacted me via the care message system and she communicated interest in our job to care for our elder parent. After communicating to do an initial interview of each other, we scheduled a date and time of when she would come over to meet our elder and us. The day came and went and she never showed up. I also messaged her to see what was going on and maybe there was something that happened to delay her. She never responded or messaged me back. Even if she had a change of heart, to say no thank you I found something else, or whatever the reason is. Communication is very important in any professional setting. The fact that she did not communicate to let me know she would not be coming when I set aside time in my day for her is very disrespectful.
