I have grown up with dogs my whole life from 100-pound shepard to 5-pound poodles. As an adult I had a 75-pound lab (Kirbee) and 45-pound shepard collie mix (Sheeba). They were my babies, I loved them like my kids. Sadly, they were sick and old and had to be put down after having them to the ages of 11 and 13. I now have a pit mix (Rocky) that is 70 pounds of pure big baby! I have watched my friend's dogs, typically at their houses and loved it because it was between the gap of putting down Sheeba and Kirbee and getting Rocky. It was pure joy because I got to love them without the cost of pet care!
