About Spencer

I started working with animals when I got my first job at a doggy daycare. I absolutely loved it and it did not really feel like work as I was doing something I loved and it was very fulfilling My skills include knowing how to read a dog's body language. I understand that dogs do not get a long with all people immediately and knowing the body language lets me know when they are uncomfortable and when they are happy or relaxed. I am familiar with the clean up and feeding of both cats and dogs. I also have experience with giving medication and am confident in my ability to get even the most stubborn of animals to take their meds. And I know how to treat dogs that are having diarrhea or throwing up (in minor cases) and know how to properly clean and wrap minor injuries (like happy tail or hot spots).
