About Sophie

Hello, my name is Sophie! I'm a student at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, OR. I have experience coaching English, Math, and Science at a middle and high school level, and am very comfortable with doing so either remotely via Zoom or in person. I have also had experience as an academic coach and curriculum advisor for students in the Running Start program and/or making the transition to college. As a former homeschooled and online schooled student I am personally familiar with the unique challenges of hybrid, online, and in-person learning and will be committed to helping students succeed in any and all of these educational formats. In addition, I am a classically trained violinist and would be open to taking on violin, viola, cello and/or piano students as my availability allows.
