About Sophie

I love working with children because they are so perceptive, and sociable, and playful! I love teaching new skills and watching them grow! I love taking them outside and to the park! I love learning new things from the children just as much as I love teaching them! I love reading with them and singing songs and playing with toys! I started working with kids my freshman year in high school! I enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program and began learning! I earned my DCF required 45 hours, and I earned my CDA! As soon as I started working in the ECE program I knew immediately that I wanted to work with kids! In my spare time, I like to be with my friends and family. I have a 9-year-old nephew and I have a 7-month-old nephew as well! I absolutely adore them both! I really enjoy going on adventures and exploring new things! I love going to the movies and to the beach! And I absolutely love doing arts and crafts!
