About Sophie

I'm a motivated, patient, caring sitter. I have 2 1/2 years of teaching experience volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club. I taught students in 4th-6th grade about tech topics - creating engaging material, directing creative, hands-on activities, and building meaningful connections with the students. I also have experience caring for my two sisters (ages 10 & 12), getting them ready for school, helping them with homework and extracurriculars, and planning fun sister-dates with them. I'm certified in Basic Life Support through the American Red Cross and have experience with children of all ages. I have a degree in tech, but I'm currently back in school completing Speech Pathology prereqs as a part-time student. Hoping to start grad school next fall 2027, I'm looking for shorter-term positions (less than 1 year). I'd love to gain more hands-on experience with children while supporting your family in any way I can. I look forward to creating a safe, fun environment for your children!
