About Sophie

Hello! My name is Sophie and I'm a 37-year-old elementary and English as a Second Language teacher. I recently got married and moved to the area from Lancaster, PA. I've always enjoyed working with kids, and have lots of experience through teaching, caring for nieces and nephews, and babysitting over the years. I am comfortable with light cooking and housekeeping, carpooling/errands/extracurricular activities, and caring for several children at a time. Additionally, I have experience with caring for pets and the elderly. My personal interests include church involvement, travel, culture, outdoor activities, and crafting. I am hoping to find a family I can babysit for to cover date nights and such on the occasional weeknight or weekend, and plan to also be available to help with childcare needs of families while school is out for the summer.
