About Sophie Rita

I'd describe my personality as optimistic, creative, and observant. I like working with kids because they are always full of energy and their imagination always inspires me. I love being able to learn from them and be a figure who can help them discover the world around them. I am currently a nursing student at the University of Portland and am very passionate about being a compassionate and efficient caregiver both in and out of the clinical context. I hope to be a pediatric or NICU nurse one day. In my spare time, I like everything creative. I love photography, painting, scrapbooking, and reading. I love engaging my mind and hands-on activities. My skills include attentiveness, patience, and creativity. I am very easygoing and have learned to be a very patient person, so I don't get easily frustrated. I am also always up for something creative and fun!
