I have babysat for different families on and off since I was 16. I started babysitting a family of two boys starting at ages 8 and 10, and stayed with them for about 5 years. I then sat for another family with a 8-year-old boy, and 10-year-old girl. Both were full time positions. My most recent position was with a 4 y/o girl and 7-month-old baby. I have babysat for family friends, and friends of friends over the years as well.

Sophie was wonderful and our kids LOVED her. She communicated promptly with me, answered all my questions and asked me some great ones. She had experience and was so friendly and sincere. She handled both our little boys (5 an 1 1/2) wonderfully. Our youngest can be a handful and wasn't feeling well but he was still all smiles when he met her. She played with the boys and read to them and our 5 year old was asking when she'd be back as soon as she left (I'm sure the 1 1/2 year old would too if he could say more than 4 words.) Even our cat, who usually hides from everyone, came out to say hello to her. She was polite and punctual and eager to work with our schedule. I felt she cared deeply about our children and what their needs were, and making sure they had fun, too. We will use her again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Our family is so glad we have an awesome new babysitter!
