About Sophie

Hi! My name is Sophie and I just graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Human Development and Family Studies and Health Promotion and Health Equity. I love spending time with kids and have a lot of experience! I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and trustworthy. I started babysitting at a young age, and began my first job working with kids at 17. Since then, I have interned at the UW-Madison Child Development Lab where I worked in the infant/toddler classroom, and spent a summer as a camp counselor for UW where I worked with ages 5-14. I have also taken many courses for my Human Development and Family Studies degree giving me a solid understanding of milestones and other factors that may influence a child's experience. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, go on walks outside, do yoga, and try new restaurants! I am also very passionate about health and wellbeing and love any form of self care.
