About Sophie

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, hard working and patient I would enjoy working with a family whose core values and approaches to childcare are aligned with care, compassion, exploration and fun! I started working with kids when I was about 16 years old. I have just graduated from The University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), with a Bachelors degree in Education, Democracy and Justice. Here I was able to explore child development further through psychology and sociological practices. Through this degree I have an understanding of the systematic cycles of the education system as well as their leasing impacts on children. In my spare time, I love to be outside! I am all for connecting with nature, usually through rock climbing and hiking but can also enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood to soak in the sun. I will always give your child(ren) the benefit of the doubt. I will always try my best to have the utmost care and patience for your child and family.
