About Sophie

Hi! I'm Sophie, a UO grad looking to nanny for a kind, warm and welcoming family. I'm new to Portland having moved from the coast. I am fully vaccinated and boosted and expect the family to be as well. I am a trained birth and postpartum doula currently working towards my certification. Last summer, I worked at North County Recreation District in Nehalem at their summer youth program. I supervised and cared for up to 20 children at a time, ages 4 to 11. I organized outdoor games and fun educational activities, prepared meals and did light cleaning. I babysat and tutored for many families throughout my time in high school (2012 to 2016) and college (2016 to 2020). For several summers (2015 to 2017) I worked as a counselor at Kennolyn Camps, a children's sleep away camp in Santa Cruz, CA. As a nanny, my main goal is to help your kid(s) feel confident in themselves, safe and cared for. Please reach out with any questions!
