About Sophia

Hello! I'm so excited for the opportunity to provide care for your child/children! I'm currently spending some time home before completing my final year at Boston College where I am majoring in Education and English! In terms of experience, I previously worked as a day camp counselor at AOS where I cared for a class of 4-year-olds. Prior to that, I worked as a Student Teacher at various Boston public high schools. Currently, I am a part-time employee at a local boutique. Some of my passions include teaching, writing, and art! I have a passion for caring for others and helping people learn, and in my free time, I've always loved drawing and creating. A fun fact of mine is that I Irish danced for 12 years, even performing with Boston College's team! Lastly, the kind of care I provide is with a great deal of patience and compassion. I am soft-spoken and careful with my words and actions, but I also love to have fun and encourage play responsibly and when appropriate!
