About Sophia

Hi there! I'm an East Cobb local, and I graduated from Walton High School. I am currently taking a gap year from my psychology degree at Rochester Institute of Technology. I'm a reliable, kind, compassionate, and caring person. As the oldest of 3 sisters, caregiving has always been a part of my daily life. I officially started in childcare in a summer camp position in 2021, but I have been interested and active in childcare roles since I was in Girl Scouts, being a Camp Aide at multiple Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta camps since 2015. I also have extensive experience in STEM education from my roles on my high school FIRST robotics team and at my most recent position as a lead camp instructor at Code Ninjas Rochester. I have 3 years of paid childcare experience, and I am CPR & First Aid certified. In my free time, I love reading, crocheting, and hiking and exploring around Georgia. I look forward to meeting the next family or families that I'll be working with long-term or as needed.
