About Sophia

Hello! My name is Phia, I am a 19-year-old South African immigrant, and am back in Nashville from college for the summer! I have come to love caregiving in the past 6 months. At school I was looking for a way to spend my extra time and caregiving was the perfect hobby: a "feel good' job that is fulfilling to both you and your patient. I am easy going and have found that the best way to care for others is to create companionship in an atmosphere that puts both of us at equal levels. I like to describe myself to my patients as a "helpful friend," someone who wants to be with them and whose time is not only motivated by money!
