Hi Boston Families! I am 23 years old and just graduated from Northeastern Uni. I currently live near JP and I am limited to wherever I can reasonably access by public transportation. Before college, I frequently babysat in my home town in Florida. During college, I spent two summers at home working full-time and directly with children aged 6mo to 9yrs old at a daycare. I led and helped in classrooms of all ages where I was responsible for organizing and facilitating screen-free activities inside and outside, as well as diaper changes, snack/lunch time, nap time, and communication with parents. During the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I was a live-in nanny for my cousin who was an emergency response worker and needed childcare for her 16mo old. I am comfortable driving if the role requires, but I do not have my own car. Working at the day care and as a live-in nanny was incredibly rewarding and fun. I have really missed working in childcare, and I am eager to get back to it!
