About Sophia

I had the opportunity to volunteer at Fluff Animal Rescue that provided shelter and care for stray or at-risk animals. I worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as litters of kittens. My primary goal was to provide a comfortable and nurturing environment, help socialize the animals, and prepare them for a forever home. In addition, I worked at Camp Bow Wow, a doggy day care, and was responsible for monitoring play yards, ensuring animal care, and performing heavy cleaning. My training equipped me to handle reactive dogs and safely manage dog fights. I am entering my junior year of college as a Biological Science major and I hope to attend veterinary school after graduation. I'd describe my personality as driven, empathetic, and goal-oriented. I like working with animals because they bring me a happiness that cannot be compared with anything else in life. The gratification that comes with earning an animal's trust is one of the best feelings to me.
