About Sophia

Hi! I'm a Registered Nurse who is passionate about caring for others and creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children. I'm positive, empathetic, calm, and approachable. I have 3+ years of childcare experience, as well as several years working in activities at a memory care community. This taught me patience, compassion, and how to create engaging and cognitively stimulating activities. I'm also BLS certified through the American Heart Association, including CPR, choking response, and airway safety. I believe parents know their children best and value following their lead when it comes to routines, rules, and parenting styles. I truly believe raising children takes a village. Having grown up with two working parents and wonderful babysitters and nannies, I understand how meaningful a trusted caregiver can be. I would love to be part of your family's village!
