About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia and I just moved to the area for graduate school focusing on child/school psychology. As a former Early Head Start teacher, I bring professional classroom experience. I am passionate about creating safe and engaging environments where children can grow and thrive. I've worked with kids consistently since I was 18, working as a travel volleyball coach. In undergrad, I minored in developmental psychology where I worked long term at a 5 star NAECYC childcare site, where the ages ranged from 3 months-3 years. At Head Start, I worked with 1s, 2s, 3s, and Pre-K students. I especially love these early childhood years, as it's so exciting to watch them grow in so many ways.
