About Sophia

Working with children has been the most joyful and fulfilling role I've had. I've worked in a camp environment and childcare for 7 years and a nanny/AU pair for 3 years. I've been first aid/CPR certified for 8+ years, re-certified as of August 2022 As your child's caregiver I have 3 main goals. First and foremost, my focus is on your children's physical and mental safety. This included making sure the needs of your children are met above and beyond expectations, supporting their interests, and being someone they can rely on. Secondly, I want to create a fun, enriching, and educational environment. I mainly do this through outdoor adventures, art projects, games, and engaging activities. Thirdly, I strive to create a strong and trusting relationship with the children and family through open and direct communication and consistency. I am quick to adapting to children's needs and work incredibly hard to make sure they have the support and care they require to flourish.
