About Sophia

For a the last year I have worked at Knox Child Development Center as a teacher in the transition classroom. The age group I worked with in this classroom was 9months to 18months. A full class was 8 kids. I was in ratio to work alone with 3 kids or 4. Otherwise I worked with another teacher when we had a full class. In addition, I also helped out in other classrooms whenever they need me, with kids aging from 6 weeks to 6 years old. In addition I worked as a teacher at the Theatre of the Imagination summer camp the summer of 2023. At that job I worked with kids aging from 4 years old to 13 years old. My full class was usually about 10-15 kids. I worked with an assistant. I also have been babysitting for the last 5 years or so. When it comes to babysitting I follow the parents lead and give as many updates as they request. In addition, I am comfortable with pets and don't mind helping out with them as well. I'd describe my personality as joyful, compassionate, approachable.
