About Sophia

Hi families, my name is Sophia and I'm a positive, warm, and creative 24-year-old! I've worked with children for 6+ years and love it so much! I have experience with all ages from newborn to 13 years old. I am looking for part-time, minimum one-year commitment. I have worked at a sleep away camp, an elementary school, and with a family for two years (twin toddler boys and their infant sister). I'm CPR certified, have my own car, and have taken developmental psychology courses and ASL while in college. I prioritize giving your child a safe, positive, nurturing space to learn, grow, and have fun! I love crafts, games, books, baking or cooking, imaginative/pretend play, encouraging independent time and curiosity. I'm kind and energetic, but know when to be firm, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. I'm happy to care for pets and run errands as needed. I enjoy baking and would love to bring treats for your family, if desired. I look forward to meeting you. :)
