After working in the medical field for 20 years I was lucky enough to take care of two of my grandparents. Most recently I was caring for my 89-year-old Grandfather who has dementia. I would prepare all his favorite meals, help him get dressed and comb his hair, take him to appointments, and keep his home clean and sanitized. We enjoyed playing cards, watching tv, and going for short walks or sitting outside.
