Hello, my name is Sonia. I am a patient and nurturing person looking to help out a family in need of a Full time / Part time Nanny. I am currently a college student in the Bay Area pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I enjoy doing a wide range of activities including spending time outdoors as well as doing art projects or making crafts. My goal is to make a positive impact in the child's and parents lives and help out in any way I possibly can. I have experience caring for 9-month-old all the way up to children 12 years of age. I am very patient and understanding when it comes to children and their needs. I am experienced in providing rides/pick up for school for kids as well. I am comfortable with helping preparing meals at home, and cleaning/ chores around the house as well! I have experience tutoring with homework & I love to encourage reading! Sonia has taken amazing care of our 1 year old son every week day for the last several months. Sonia is loving, conscientious, responsible, and honest. Our son loves Sonia and any family that snags her is incredibly lucky. Sonia checks all the essential boxes for worried parents. She shows up when she says she will. She is respectful of our space and our guidelines. She's extremely attentive to our boy and she doesn't scroll through her phone or take care of personal matters, even on very long days. What amazes me about Sonia is the way she goes the extra mile. If my son has a particularly fussy day, she will go home and try to research what could be wrong. When our son is in pain or even uncomfortable, Sonia makes it her personal mission to fix it. As a mom, I couldn't ask for anything more! She makes sure that my husband and I get quality time with our son when we can, and takes him away to distract him when we need to focus on our work. Sonia found nearby parks, classes, and play dates for our son. I love how proactive she is and what a giant heart she has. I would recommend her to any family looking for care with zero hesitation....except for the hesitation of taking her from us! We feel so lucky that she's in our son's life.
