About Sonia

Hi, my name is Sonia! I'm a graduate student at University of San Diego where I'm getting my masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy. I have worked in the childcare field for over six years as a preschool teacher, forest school teacher, nanny, babysitter, and tutor. I love working with kids and creating a safe space, fostering creativity & curiosity, and encouraging lots of play based fun! I'm very passionate about healthy communication, nature based play, and an empathetic perspective. Some of my favorite activities to do with the kiddos include arts & crafts, beach days, hikes, going to the park, cooking, and dance parties !!! I'm excited to get to know your family!!
