About Sommer

With 8+ years experience, I started my journey with senior care my sophomore year of high school, I completed a co-op which included visiting nursing homes, and attending training. Following completion of the course, I started working at an assisted living facility which included very minimal skill, to advanced skill. I expanded my experience by working in a memory care unit which was high level of care and required lots of patience, understanding and dedication. From 2020-current I have expanded my experience even more by filling the role as an in-home caregiver. I find that this has been the most precious type of caregiving. I have been able to form family-like relationships with my clients, while giving top of the line one-on-one care. I am skilled in dementia/Alzheimer care, Parkinson's, Cerebral Palsy, Diabetes (blood sugar checks and insulin injections), Mental Health, Medication Management, and so much more.
