About Sojourner

I have been Nannying for the past 5 years, and in that time I have helped many of the children I look after with homeschooling, homework and assignments. My passion is working with kids to help them feel encouraged to learn, try new things and develop excellent communication skills. I believe the key to success in children's ability to learn is to foster an environment of encouragement, fun, hard work, and patients. When a child is told that hard work equals success, rather than "you are smart in this and not in this" than they feel that they can learn anything if they put their mind to it! We have to change the modern model of education and get kids excited to learn, and know that they can!
