Hi my name is Sofia and my passion is being a caregiver. I have a 7-year-old son , a 16-month-old daughter and a 5-year-old step daughter. I've recently decided to be an at home caregiver. I've been working with children since I was 17, I started working with children through ABCD Summerworks and then I did Winterworks as well. It was there I discovered my passion for working with children. I've worked in Daycare, The YMCA Afterschool Program, Crispus Attucks Preschool and ABCD Head Start. I got my GED when I turned 18 and then I took college intro courses at Roxbury. I then took a break but soon enough I found my way back to Head Start and enrolled into College in Boston. I also attained my CDA( Child Development Associate) Certificate, CPR and First Aid and my Teachings Certificate. I'm currently working on enrolling in online courses. I enjoy playing and growing with children, Its a passion I've had since I was young.
