About Sofia

I enjoy helping children achieve milestones through play and communication. I have over 8 years experience as a nanny, and two in an educational setting with ABA. I have provided overnight care, for travelling parents, tutoring, mentoring, maintaining an organized home, pet care while nannying, cooking, drop off and pick up amongst other things. Furthermore, I am a Certified Behavior Therapist. I work with autistic children in, both, clinical and family home settings. My childcare experience is with children aged 7 months to 16 years old. I am skilled at implementing age-appropriate learning activities. I worked as a social and case worker and have experience providing trauma informed care and social services to teens, children and families. I am a non-smoker, I volunteer, and I am CPR Certified. My transferable skills include: Language skills, tutoring/ school work, Overnight care, cooking, organization Day trips with up to 4 children.
