Hello! I am a kind, patient, energetic and experienced babysitter. I have been in the childcare sector for the past five years. I was a full-time nanny for three years and afterwards worked at a preschool in Atlanta. I was the lead educator for the 2-3-year-old classroom and later became the art teacher. I am now teaching at Montessori of Macon. I have a bachelor's degree in art history and studio art from Wesleyan College. I am also a certified children's yoga instructor. My mindset towards early childhood development leans toward Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. I strongly believe that children need independence, structure, art, and nature in their lives to develop into well-rounded individuals. I love all kiddos and am adept to handling a variety of needs! I ensure that children feel safe and well cared for in my presence. My preferred base pay is $18/hr for one child and +$2/hr for every additional child or pet, however I am willing to negotiate.

Sofia was with us a little over two years. She joined our family when I was pregnant with my second baby. She was very kind, supportive and caring. She showed respect to all of my family members. She was ALWAYS very patient with the kids. She tried to learn our ways through learning about different foods we liked to our daily habits. She became family to us. The kids loved her and they still remember her.
