About Sofia

I'd describe my personality as present, thoughtful and conscientious. I started caring for seniors when my grandparents met their shifts of life. Since I've cared for young children, disabled adults, had a career in healing arts, taken CNA training with internship in elder assisted living and dementia care. I currently care for two elder clients (one wirh physical limitations and one with severe dementia) on Bainbridge Island. My skills include my specialty is helping people find peace with what their lives have been, where it is going and living in the now (background in counseling, healing arts, behavioral health, teaching movement and spiritual practices). I also happen to be joyful organizer, cleaner and cook. I love helping people find peace and presence with the shifts of life. One thing you should know about me is I'm not comfortable around dogs that bark, jump or bite. Cats, chickens, very calm dogs, and other calm animals are fine. In my spare time I am in nature.
