About Sofia

Currently work in Behavioral Health at a long term care facility for older adults. Looking to make some extra money as I prepare to go to grad school to pursue my MSW. Experience with working with middle schoolers in leadership role and tutoring elementary schooler with ADHD who was struggle to keep up in the classroom. Extremely proficient in algebra and geometry. Proficient in general chemistry and general physics. Am able to brush up on topics not listed - able to quickly learn. I am extremely patient and am able to work with children who may need extra support to learn. Bachelors of Science from UC Davis in which I took upper level statistics, physics, calculus, and physiology and neurobiology classes. I'd describe my personality as calm, friendly, and genuine. I like tutoring because I enjoy teaching others and helping confusing material make sense.
