About Sofia

I'd describe my personality as calm, caring and reliable. I like working with kids for the reward of setting positive examples without a dull moment. I'm looking for a job that I fit well into and can provide the best assistance to the family since every child's needs are unique. I started working with kids as a young teenager in a family business setting helping out at summer camps and eventually running them. I began learning about early childhood education in small classroom settings throughout my late teen years into adulthood. I have experienced a wide range of families, children's learning styles and socialization. In my spare time, I like the outdoors and love to travel. Currently I am working on furthering my maritime education. I enjoy playing soccer, beach time and cooking. Another thing you should know is I like art. Painting drawing and crafting are some of my favorite activities to do with kids. My skills include patience, attentiveness and compassion.
