Hi! My name is Sofia. I am a recent UCLA graduate with a degree in Psychology. Working with children is my absolute favorite! I come equip with a joyful spirit, a love for children, a voice for singing and music, and a background in psychology (specific interest in developmental psychology). I took many developmental psychology classes throughout my time at UCLA, and always incorporate such knowledge into my care. I also have experience working as a Behavioral Therapist for kids with autism and other developmental disorders. I am an older sister and have been babysitting/nannying/tutoring since before I can remember. I'm comfortable doing laundry, housekeeping, helping with homework, and some light cooking. I am also fluent in Spanish. I would love to help your family in any way that I can, including music/singing with the kids, teaching Spanish, and language development. Sofia was punctual, friendly, and outgoing. She made us feel comfortable that she could care for our daughter well and quickly developed a good rapport with her. She played and sang with her, and our daughter really enjoyed her time playing with her. Sofia actively looked for ways to engage with her curious mind and turn play experiences into interactive experiences. We recommend her!
