About Sofia

Hi, I'm Sofia! I'm 25 years old and live in Union. I studied psychology, education, and Spanish at Rutgers, and have over 6 years experience in different positions in childcare, including Lead Early Preschool Teacher. I'm currently a Floating Assistant in a school where I get to work with ages 4 months-6 years, with mixed abilities. We use the child-centered Reggio Emilia approach. I really value kindness and fun, and I'm happy to send lots of updates about what we get up to. I'm happy to prepare simple meals as needed as well as doing light housework. Currently I'm looking for a morning (8am-1pm) or evening (7pm-10pm) position as I'm working at the preschool in the afternoons. Also happy to do weekends or overnights on an occasional basis. If you think I could be the right fit for your family I'd be happy to message, set up a call, or grab a coffee to talk details. Hope to hear from you :)
