About Sofia

Hi! My name is Sofia, and I'm an energetic and patient individual who aspires to be a child psychologist! My favorite age groups are infants and toddlers, but I have experience with infants through high schoolers. I'm looking for a part-time position, and my rate starts at $25/hr for one child. I have worked for 3 families and have daycare experience. I am First Aid and CPR certified. My approach follows gentle parenting and the research of Dr. Mona DeLaHooke. I let children lead while guiding them so they can learn to be autonomous individuals. I enjoy pretend play, talking through feelings, and music. I also have a passion for working with anxious children and neurodivergent children (Dyslexic/Autistic/ADHD). In my free time, I enjoy singing, dancing, and playing the piano.
