About Sofia

Hi my name is Sofia and I have a passion for teaching and making learning a fun and engaging experience for students of all ages. I have experience volunteering around/with kids of all ages and abilities. I have a desire to make a positive impact on children and to support families. I will support parents by providing communication and updates on student's progress in whichever way they find most effective, whether that is written communication, verbal or over the phone. I am very patient, creative, engaging and approachable. I love arts and crafts, reading, writing, and just learning overall! I am knowledgeable on different learning styles and will strive to personalize each lesson to best fit your child's needs. I recently graduated high school with honors and completed both AP classes and dual enrollment classes at HCC. I start at USF this fall and I will be majoring in mass communications with a minor in digital marketing! Can't wait to teach and learn together :)
